Your appointment begins with a detailed consultation with your Registered Nurse.
Your lips are assessed in relation to their natural shape, symmetry and proportions, as well as how they relate to the surrounding facial features.
We will discuss what you have noticed, what you would like to achieve and any previous cosmetic treatments. Your medical history and relevant contraindications will also be reviewed.
Your Treatment Plan
If treatment is considered clinically appropriate, an individualised treatment plan can be developed.
Your practitioner will explain the proposed approach, expected changes, limitations, alternatives, relevant costs and potential risks so that you can make an informed decision about whether you would like to proceed.
There is no obligation to undergo treatment following a consultation.
Treatment & Aftercare
Where appropriate and following the required consultation and consent process, treatment may be performed.
The exact approach will depend on your anatomy and agreed treatment plan. Comfort measures and what to expect during the procedure will be explained before commencing.
You will receive individualised aftercare information before leaving the clinic, including expected post-treatment changes and symptoms that require medical attention.
A review may also be recommended depending on your treatment plan and clinical needs.
